“General FAQ’s for some references”

“Fuel Hose & Size” – Lambretta C; LC; D’ LD 6mm (Inside Diameter) 11mm (Outside Diameter) – Re-enforced Fuel Gas Petrol Pipe (Example – Toyox, used for fluid oils, chemical, powder, air, water – Soft PVC Reinforced Material with a reinforced steel mesh.  Fuel hose clamp to use would be 9mm -11mm

“Coil Locations (To be added to)”

Locations include:

NOS  bakerlite coil, bakerlite HT cap and a HT lead to the spark plug,

  • For coils the positive side of the coil is usually marked “II” or “15” or a + sign.
  • For coils the negative is marked “1” or blank or with a “-” sign.

MK1 / Old Models
Old models comprises of a secondary coil wound on top of the primary (Click Here to see image (Left side Ignition Coil inside magneto on stator plate).

Brown Bakerlite
Old (Brown / Bakerlite – Click Here) coil can be seen fitted to the frame near the shock (Right side as you sit on it!).

Round Car Style Models (Various locations include):

  • Nearer the front; under the panel below the front seat.
  • Above the right rear footboard support strut.
  • On the inside of the frame. Near the cylinder.
