The You Tube video link below shows me removing a 1958 LD Lambretta Clutch. You will note that during removal of the case, there is NO gasket, as I had already removed the clutch and reinstalled it, to remove it again to produce the video.
Information and Notes
Notes on this removal and issues: None
Spring Clip: Remove the spring clip (Seen removed in the video and in the first few seconds in my hand and located on the right side!)
Center Nut: Remove the center big nut with cardboard washer to gain access to the two nuts and sleeve. Remove the two 8mm nuts with two 8mm tools (one 8mm spanner should be a flat head)
Allen Key Bolts: There are five 5mm allen key bolts. Each bolts has two washers. They will probably be covered in a thick black oil that will need digging out. Consider washing them out with WD40
Special Tool: The video shows the special LD Clutch tool that you can purchase to aid with the removal of the big circlip and clutch components. You could make one of yourself with (example) a piece of metal, two bolts and a few buts and drill a hole in the center of the metal. I decided to purchase the correct tool as I use it often.
I hope you find the video of some help. Please let me know if I can help any further with your own complications.
